Every year, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Minnesota makes the dreams of hundreds of local children living with life-threatening medical conditions come true.
Join in the Holiday Wish Ride at Nickelodeon Universe in Mall of America and help make wishes come true! It’s easy to participate!
1. Register! Sign up as an individual or as a team. If you sign up as a team, make sure to invite others to join you!
2. Collect donations! Send emails asking your family, friends and co- workers to make a donation.
3. Ride! Join us on December 13 for the Holiday Wish Ride, when individuals, families and teams members who raised a minimum of $100 will get together at Nickelodeon Universe at Mall of America for free rides from 9 AM until 2 PM. If you receive any cash or check donations, please bring them to the registration table at the Holiday Wish Ride.
All proceeds raised at the Holiday Wish Ride will help grant the wishes of more than 50 Minnesota wish kids through our 2008 Stories of Light campaign.
Every dollar counts. Here are a few examples of how your donation can help grant a child's greatest wish:
• $25 could cover travel related enhancement items for a wish child and family visiting Disney World.
• $50 could cover party supplies to celebrate the granting of child’s wish for a state of the art computer.
• $100 could cover dinner for a child and family on a wish trip to New York City.
• $1,000 could cover hotel accommodations for a wish child and family traveling to visit a movie set in California.
• $6,000 is the average cost of a wish
